"If you're looking for authentic Heng Hwa cuisine, look no further than this restaurant that has been serving up delicious dishes for over 50 years. The first thing you'll notice is the wide variety of Heng Hwa noodles available. The food here is simply delicious as old school taste, the flavors are authentic and traditional, providing a true taste of Heng Hwa cuisine. What I appreciate most about this restaurant is the commitment to maintaining the old taste. It’s not easy."

"Small humble looking simple shop focused on putien cuisine. I enjoyed their stir noodle with the crispy seaweed. The crispy seaweed adds a good dimension to the noodle dish ;) The tofu stew was just average for me though. Boss is friendly, don't mind repeating if I'm nearby"

"An OG restaurant from days long gone (since I was a kid). Once famous for its pomfret fish porridge and delicious crab balls, neither have stood the test of time. There is little to no crab in the crab balls and the porridge has never been to my liking (it’s light, clean tasting and watery - good for clean eaters but not for my taste bud’s unfortunately). This time around when I ate there, their mee suah shone; the combination was tasty and pleasant. Their “kau yuk” bihun was also good."

"Revisited this old restaurant recently after many years. Back then, I felt the food was just average and the service attitude was bad, so I stopped coming. This time, a friend asked me to go again, and I noticed the service has improved a lot, staff were friendly and responsive. The food is still on the bland side compared to today’s trend of strong flavours, but it has its own character. In the past, food was not cooked so salty, and this place still keeps that balance. The bihun has a nice texture, very thin and thread-like, something I have never see elsewhere. The misua is also decent. Even though it is not heavily seasoned, it has different textures and subtle flavours that come through. Overall, it is worth revisiting."

"This restaurant is supposed to be Hing Hua cuisine. We had an Bitter Gourd Egg Omelette, Marmite Chicken, Sliced Red Garoupa with Ginger and Sauteed Romaine Lettuce. The taste of the food is good and not too salty. The restaurant is quite packed and you may have to wait for a table."

"I almost skipped this place because of some of the online reviews — and that would’ve been a huge mistake. The food easily deserves an 8/10, and the staff were genuinely attentive and hardworking. I honestly think a lot of the complaints come from people who expect to walk in, get a seat instantly, and be served like royalty within minutes. Patience? Apparently not a thing anymore."

"Hua hin cuisine, so southern Chinese settlers in Thailand and their delish food here. Their the fried mee suah and their crab with meat balls. Both a tantalising delight. Flavours are not overly complex, food is about the natural sweetness. Very little salted. You may find it bland, if you eat out a lot. For me, it was my cuppa tea."
